DISCOVER THE “FAR DE SANT SEBASTIÀ”

The Faro de San Sebastian (San Sebastian’s Phare), within the municipality of Palafrugell, is located between Tamariu and Llafranch. The phare was launched in October 1st, 1857 and its light reaches up to 32 nautical miles, which makes it the most powerful of the Catalan coast.

Besides, the phare is placed within the Monumental Set of  San Sebastián de la Guarda.

The set has a tower-phare and it is standing up over a veranda surrounded by a fence full of flower boxes. This makes it a place of an extreme beauty worth visiting.
