Palamós is a coast village in the Costa Brava, whose history gets back to the 2500-1500 B.C. where they found the first Archeological sits of the population and its history has several steps, among which that of being a Greek sit and a key Point in the Medieval history of the Costa Brava.

Palamós is a village fully maritime. Its main bay (Platja Gran) reaches the whole length of the villange and then it has its calas (Playa del Morro del Vedell, Playa de sa Tamardia, Cala Margarida, La Fosca, Cala S’Alguer, Playa de Castell, Cala dels Corbs, Cala Estreta), with their particular characteristics. 

Some of the most beautiful places to visit in Palamos, apart from the beaches, are the Casco Antiguo (Ancient nucleus of the village), the Castillo de Sant Esteve del Mar (castle ),  and the fishing port.
